    mostly knots. occasional doubt.

    finished, except the cord. need a cord.
  • Walnut spice rack
    sanded twice. unclear why.
  • Watercolour florals series
    small hands involved. calling it collaborative.
  • Cottage shed paint job
    magenta won. always magenta.

I make things — mostly badly — until I make them well.

I'm Sarah. Self-taught everything-er. I live in a small place with two small people and one of those squeaky studio chairs you never get around to fixing.

This blog is where I write down what I'm learning, in case it's useful to you, and so I stop forgetting which dye lot I bought in 2023.
